Fearing Debbie is at risk from the gangster, Abi decides to tell Kevin the truth – and reveals his sister murdered Ray in self-defence then dumped his body in the river. Abi might have bought Debbie’s tall tale, but Kevin isn’t so easily fooled. He insists it’s all nonsense and Ray must still be alive.
Kev is correct of course, and later Ray arrives at the Bistro disguised as a workman so he can listen in on Debbie’s latest meeting with Miles. Vengeful Ray doesn’t take well to the discovery that Debbie is planning to put him inside, so he responds by forcing her into the restaurant’s walk-in fridge.
Moments later, Kevin arrives on the scene and whacks Ray over the head with a frying pan, knocking him unconscious. But just as Kevin goes to rescue Debbie, the door of the chiller slams shut, leaving the siblings trapped inside.

The following day, Gabby can barely contain her glee as she watches Dawn clear her desk, but the smug smile is wiped off both her and Kim’s faces when Jamie declares that he’s returning to the vets full time and has asked Dawn to be his receptionist.
Later, Kim runs into Dawn in the village and accuses her of using Jamie for his cash, something neither she or Will take kindly to. And meddling Mack can’t resist stirring the pot even further by telling Dawn that her dad is sleeping with the lady of the manor.

Next it’s Gray’s turn to be on the receiving end of Shirl’s legendary short fuse when she angrily demands to know why he has not been looking out for Tina. Letting rip, Shirley also accuses the lawyer of knowing Tina was innocent all along, and serves him up some harsh home truths.
