Fearing Debbie is at risk from the gangster, Abi decides to tell Kevin the truth – and reveals his sister murdered Ray in self-defence then dumped his body in the river. Abi might have bought Debbie’s tall tale, but Kevin isn’t so easily fooled. He insists it’s all nonsense and Ray must still be alive.
Kev is correct of course, and later Ray arrives at the Bistro disguised as a workman so he can listen in on Debbie’s latest meeting with Miles. Moments later, Kevin arrives on the scene and whacks Ray over the head with a frying pan, knocking him unconscious. But just as Kevin goes to rescue Debbie, the door of the chiller slams shut, leaving the siblings trapped inside.
