Frenship ISD declared that Lela Vela, FISD director of finance, has been selected as a 2022 Increase Award recipient by the Texas Association of School Organization Officers.
Vela is a single of only 7 public instruction directors throughout the point out of Texas to receive the award this 12 months, according to a news launch from the district.
Vela and the other recipients of the Increase Award were chosen based mostly on their leadership traits, achievements, and their wish to go on growing their vocation. Vela has been with the Frenship loved ones for 10 years, serving in many roles in just the Frenship ISD Small business Workplace such as Accountant, Coordinator of Accounting, and now Director of Finance. Not only is Vela an energetic member of TASBO, earning their maximum certification of Registered Texas University Organization Administrator, but she also participates in many local community and Frenship committees and serves as a mentor to youthful organization gurus and students.
