Japanese electronics maker Panasonic accused chipmaker Broadcom Corp of violating its rights in various personal computer-engineering patents in Texas federal court Thursday.
Panasonic Holdings Corp explained to the courtroom that Broadcom rejected its offers to explore a license to its patent portfolio, which it claimed protected a “broad array” of Broadcom items.
The two lawsuits say Broadcom products together with microprocessors, built-in circuits and parts employed in wi-fi networking infringe 10 Panasonic patents.
