Jeffrey Fang had hopped out of his van for a minute Saturday evening to make a DoorDash shipping in San Francisco when somebody jumped in and drove off — with his two youthful little ones inside of.
“I yelled at him and told him to get out and two of my young ones are in the car,” Fang instructed KGO. “I just want my youngsters back again.”
Right after an Amber Alert and four-hour lookup, police observed the stolen silver 2014 Honda Odyssey, with Fang’s 1-yr-aged son and 4-12 months-previous daughter protected within, at 1:15 a.m. Sunday, the San Francisco Chronicle documented.
“Thank you to the heroic law enforcement officers who labored tirelessly to identify the two children,” wrote Deputy Main David Lazar on Twitter.
Detectives are even now searching for the man who stole the van at 8:45 p.m. in the 2100 block of Jackson Road in Pacific Heights, the Chronicle described. The van was observed in Bayview Heights.
“Times are challenging, if you are heading to have to vacation resort to stealing, that is a diverse subject, but be sure to, really don’t hurt my kids,” Fang had earlier asked the thief, KGO documented. “Let them return securely again to me and my wife, remember to.”
The little ones were being checked by medics and returned to their mother and father, law enforcement wrote on Twitter.
