What’s Your Favorite U.S. National Park?

I have a problem: What’s your beloved U.S. Countrywide Park?

Above the previous two a long time, I’ve fallen in like with them.

Prior to the pandemic, I had only frequented a handful of them, mainly by incident. But as soon as the pandemic hit, and it was protected more than enough to road-trip, I drove all around the place viewing them.

Now I have seen 15 out of 63. And sometime, I’d like to see them all.

Initial, there was Redwood Countrywide Park, with its towering trees and black-sand beaches…

Then Indiana Dunes, with its sprawling sights of nuclear reactors…

Then Utah, residence to some of the most effective countrywide parks in the nation: I visited Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon, and Zion.

Soon after Utah, I visited Mammoth Cave (Kentucky) and Incredibly hot Springs (Arkansas), on the way to Austin, which is exactly where I stay now.

Then there was Huge Bend, Texas. The night sky is unbelievable there! You can see so several stars.

Followed by Petrified Forest in New Mexico…

And most lately, Glacier (Montana) and Grand Teton (Wyoming). Glacier Countrywide Park reminded me of Switzerland with its alpine valleys, purple wildflowers, and jagged mountains. I even saw mountain goats.

I experience so lucky that I’ve gotten to see so substantially of our wonderful state in the past couple of yrs.

When I was younger, I concentrated solely on international journey (this website isn’t identified as Ashley Abroad for nothin’). But around the earlier two decades, I’m pleased to report that I’ve gained a newfound appreciation for my very own yard.

It turns out you do not have to fly halfway around the earth to go on an journey.

As for my favourite? It’s a two-way tie between Redwood and Significant Bend.
