WASHINGTON, April 20 (Reuters) – U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen explained to her counterpart from Indonesia that there will be no “business enterprise-as-standard” for Russia in the worldwide overall economy supplied its invasion of Ukraine, the Treasury Section claimed in a statement on Wednesday.
Yellen told Indonesian Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati in the course of a meeting on Tuesday that the United States will go on to work with Indonesia, which at present leads the Team of 20 significant economies, to progress G20 enterprise.
“Secretary Yellen firmly condemned Russia’s brutal invasion of Ukraine, and emphasized there will be no business enterprise-as-usual for Russia in the international overall economy,” Treasury reported. “Secretary Yellen emphasised that the United States will continue to operate in solidarity with Indonesia to progress the significant business of the G20, which includes addressing the damaging impacts of Russia’s invasion on the world-wide financial system.”
